4 December to 17 December - The Geminid meteor shower is one of the finest meteors showers visible in either the Northern or the Southern Hemisphere. Over this period, there will be a chance of seeing Geminid meteors whenever the shower's radiant point – in the constellation Gemini – is above the horizon, with the number of visible meteors increasing the higher the radiant point is in the sky. meteor shower The best night to see the shower is Dec. 13/14. The shower will peak around 01:00 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
